    Ford is implementing SAP I-ERP program, which will improve productivity, reduce the size and complexity of Ford's technical footprint, emphasize differentiating capabilities, and to transform and standardize its business processes. This position will be part of the IERP Data Conversion team in the Enterprise Architecture – Foundational Products group and this team is responsible to transform legacy data into S4 using SAP BO Data Services (BODS) and ABAP programming.

    High-level roles and responsibilities:

    • Design and develop BODS program to load data in SAP using RFC, IDOCs and ABAP.
    • Database experience must include SAP HANA
    • SAP Data Services Developer with experience in Data Integration and Data Migration domains. Closely worked on SAP applications including S/4 HANA
    • Experience in data profiling, data cleansing, data validation and data analysis.
    • Experience designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) and data extraction, transformation and load data using the ETL tool.
    • Build RICEFW's (Reports, Conversions)
    • Experience with IDOC processing and APIs
    • Performance Tuning, problem solving skills and Debugging/Defect Management
    • Experience in ABAP programming and development of BODS services.
    • Good experience in SAP data migration projects
    • To work with stakeholders and other Ford and vendor teams to ensure service availability.
    • To consult with architects to ensure design compliant to architecture standards and principles.
    • Reviews code developed by software engineers and provides feedback to ensure quality deliverable.
    • Ensures technical inspections are performed at appropriate stages of development.
    • Create production support documentation and provide production support for the conversion objects developed.
    • To thrive in a fast-paced working norm and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
    • To collaborate with vendors, Ford IT and Business teams and meet the enterprise objectives.
    • Effective team player working with Onsite and Offshore teams.
    • Minimum one year of SAP Data migration/ conversion experience, preferably in the Finance, Purchasing and Manufacturing modules.
    • SAP Data services certification will add value to this position.
