    Descripción

    We are looking for an effective Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the operations of a manufacturing and production facility. They ensure that the plant operates efficiently, safely, and within budget.

    Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Overseeing the entire plant operations including Receiving, Inventory, production, maintenance, quality control, Import/export, and shipping. Ensuring that the plant meets production goals.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensuring the plant complies with all safety and environmental regulations. Implementing and maintaining safety protocols to protect employees and the environment.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Managing the plant budget, controlling operational costs, and implementing cost-saving measures. Making financial decisions that affect the plant's profitability.
  • Staff Management: Leading and managing the plant workforce. Hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance. Ensuring a high level of employee core values, morale and productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously analyzing and improving plant processes and procedures. Implementing new technologies or methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Quality Control: Overseeing quality control processes to ensure the production of high-quality products. Addressing and resolving quality issues.
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinating with suppliers and managing the supply chain to ensure the timely availability of materials.
  • Strategic Planning: Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization, Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve plant operations, expand production capacity, or introduce new products.
  • Reporting: Preparing and presenting reports on plant performance, challenges, and progress to senior management.
  • Crisis Management: Handling emergencies or unexpected issues that affect plant operations, such as equipment failures or supply disruptions.

    • Requirements:


    • BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, business administration or related field.

    • Previous experience in a similar position

    • Expertise in managing procedures and best practices

    • Ability to implement process improvement initiatives

    • Leadership skills

    • Strong decision making and problem solving skills

    • Excellent communication skills
