    Responsibilities

    The Opportunity

    The L6 role will support an average of 50 + innovation projects per year that represent about $ in gross revenue managed

    through the Accolade system. The role interacts closely with cross functional teams including Global Innovation, Finance, R&D, Supply Chain, Sales, Insights, Legal, and Global Procurement.

    Your Impact

    As Innovation Support Analyst your functions would consist of

    PepsiCo Accolade SME (Subject Matter Expert):

  • Represents FLUS at Global Business Champion Forum.
  • Responsible for general system administration including understanding system architecture, staying abreast of system updates and upgrades.
  • Responsible for continuous system training with other PepsiCo Global partners in reviewing/approving system changes with subsequent User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the FLNA sector.
  • Responsible for WIR (Work Intake Requests) creation/presentation/discussion for US led system changes.
  • Communicating system changes &/or updates to the innovation team.
  • Responsible for training of tenured &/or new FLNA Marketing Innovation team members to drive FLNA compliance in system access, set-up and use to initiate new projects planned and chartered to launch as part of the corporate AOP plan.
  • Works closely with Finance SME and partners to ensure timely/accurate financial templates are documented.
  • Accolade & POM-NPD (PepsiCo Operating Model-New Product Development) System Management:

  • Managing idM request submissions for Accolade access. Gathering and requesting approval, defining the proper level of system access
  • needed by cross functional team member for set up.
  • Creating, managing and entering the most current innovation project data.
  • Maintaining all governance meeting calendar dates in Accolade.
  • Attaching/ warehousing all Gate presentations in each Accolade innovation projects as needed.
  • Validating Gate presentation data (metrics) updated in Accolade project with follow ups to add relevant data if missing.
  • Adding related ILT governance forum minutes to the status of each Accolade project.
  • Running general reports for manager and cross functional partners as needed to review project list, timing, and data accuracy.
  • Create canned reports that are communicated on consistent basis – ex. Speed to Market, by year project status, etc
  • Innovation Leadership Team (ILT) Coordination :

  • Create future ILT folder and snapshot and voting page posting on Teams site
  • Maintain ILT Stage Gate scheduling in Accolade as projects change meeting dates.
  • Oversees Accolade updates & accuracy as compared to project presentation information shared in ILT Governance review.
  • Innovation project status documentation in Accolade.
  • Attend ILT and move stage gates that are approved
  • Department Communication:

  • Own the creation and maintenance of the full Innovation Calendar of new products, tracking and managing the information flow across multiple team including Large Format, Small Format, Club, Away from Home, e-Commerce, First to Markets, and Customer Exclusives innovation platforms.
  • Own the creation & maintenance calendars for current year as well as provide additional documentation on next year and 2 year+ innovation calendar to support the corporate strategy of 3-year sustainability planning.
  • Create & maintain the ILT Teams site that houses innovation documentation including ILT agendas and presentation decks, Innovation Calendars, ILT meeting dates, ILT presentation templates, Innovation timelines, and other general information.
  • BPAC/Cornerstone Innovation Ownership:

  • Maintain tracker that includes BPs tied to Accolade projects
  • Innovation Portfolio Strategy Support:

  • Innovation Pipeline Management: Support 2X/yr meetings with each Innovation Lead to initiate Accolade projects for the next 3 year pipeline. Objective is to establish stage gate timelines based on project complexity to target on time execution to support in market date.
  • Support PepsiCo Global POM Update: PepsiCo is updating the innovation stage gate process to improve speed to market. This role will be critical to validate new process, communicate the new process and test via pilots. Critical elements will include, but not be limited to create, test, train, and execute on line approval system for more efficient ILT stage gate approvals.
  • Innovation Strategy Support: This role will be critical to support key strategy efforts, including project reporting.
  • IRI /Cornerstone:

  • Create initial new UPC list and key input for IRI coding(6 columns). Leverage 2 Cornerstone reports and VLookup.
  • Access and submit flat bag product images to IRI
  • Innvoation Tracker:

  • Maintain and update innovation tracker on regular basis, and coordinate closely with R&D on project clarity
  • Qualifications

    Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent job experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Global PepsiCo Operating Model / New Product Development (POM-NPD) Process or similar Innovation development process
  • Knowledge of Accolade New Product Planning system or similar project approval system
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and macros
  • Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage the details of up to 50+ projects & make complex situations simple
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical and systems capabilities skills
  • Takes initiative on assigned tasks and accountabilities with minimal supervision
  • High degree of ownership, initiative and intellectual curiosity
